Matt is that rarest of beasts, a genuine all-round specimen hunter. He targets his first love, big carp, during the warmer months, choosing to pursue the smaller species during the winter. He's a native of Hampshire, and has successfully targeted some of the most challenging waters in the area over the last decade. Famous waters like Roach Pit and Rockford have relinquished many of their most sought-after jewels to Matt, including his current PB of 57lb.
He's an accomplished long-range angler, but has also successfully targeted huge carp from small waters, including the famous Nutsey big 'un at 49b 4oz and has now banked 13 fish over 40lb. Five of those fish were over the 45b mark too! certainly one to watch!
