Luke is very much an up-and-coming big-fish name. He's a Hertfordshire native and has fished some of the Lea Valley's most prestigious venues, including Jerry Hammond's testing Carthagena syndicate.

He prefers to target challenging fish, and his travels have taken him as far afield as Linch Hill and the Essex Quarry in search of the old, pressured fish that he prizes most highly. In recent years, Luke has set himself the challenge of catching the big, sought-after from a huge, Lea Valley water. He's applied himself well to the challenge so far, banking fish to over 40lb.
