TOM DOVE
Age: 21 PB: 57lb 2oz
The 'Dove From Above', as he's lovingly known, has already caught a lifetime's worth of carp. Although Tom has been known around the Essex scene since he was a young lad, he really made his name by winning the British Young Carp Angling Championships a few years back, battling against some of the finest young carpers in the country.
He's taken apart renowned waters like Walthamstow and The Essex Manor, where he banked his magnificent PB – namely the famous Amphibian.
Along with the rest of the development team, Tom is responsible for getting new ideas from the drawing board, producing samples and testing them out until they’re perfected – something that all at Korda take pride in.
Finesse and watercraft are his strongest assets, which help him to stay ahead of the crowd; whether that’s on a well-known, pressured water or a tough, private syndicate.
Tom loves to fish for big carp using the boilie approach and is an expert on targeting the bigger fish in a lake. We expect him to go on to catch all the carp that he sets his sights on - a true rising star.
