Damian’s first brush with fame came in the form of a truly iconic capture. The carp scene was rocked when Damian banked the elusive Snake Pit Common, a fish which is still a proud UK PB. Since then, he has outwitted some of the country's trickiest carp on no-publicity waters well off the beaten track. Precision and attention to detail when it comes to rigs and baiting strategies set him apart from the crowd – the word perfectionist springs to mind!
With Danny Fairbrass chasing carp around the country on a day-to-day basis, Damian runs the operations at Korda. Not only does he keep everything running smoothly, he also finds time to develop new products, along with his highly skilled development team. Damian has input into all of the new releases that you'll see on the shelves.
