IAN POOLE
Age: 38 PB: 46lb 14oz
2008 British Carp Angling Champion Ian Poole is a master at fishing solid, PVA bags. His carefully constructed rigs make him adaptable to most situations and he also has a knack for winkling carp off of the surface.
Ian produces many features for angling publications and his face can often be seen among the pages trying to give something back to his beloved sport – helping you to catch more carp.
Ian has fished a whole host of waters catching numbers of big and small carp along the way. Whether he’s targeting large, windswept waters in Oxfordshire or highly-stocked pressured waters in the south, Ian always enjoys himself and applies maximum effort.
Check out some of his PVA bag tactics because they’re intriguing. At times he will go completely against the grain in order to tempt a bite. Enjoy!
