The Big Rig (Print)
These are the bits that you'll need to construct Myles' rig.
Start by pulling off a 8-inch section of Mouth Trap.
Whip on your Choddy hook, using a knotless knot.
Myles uses 12 turns, and ensures that the hair exits straight too!
Setting the link at two inches, pop on a Micro Rig Swivel and fold the Mouth Trap to form the beginning of a loop.
Now tie an overhand loop to trap the swivel at the end of your hook section.
Ease the knot tight with a Pulla Tool. This is how your rig should look now.
Now kick the loop in towards the hook point, in the same plane as the point too.
Form a D-rig, as you would with a normal chod rig, trapping your rig ring in place.
Using a grinner knot, attach 10 inches of N-Trap Soft to the swivel, this will form the boom.
Wrap Dark Matter putty around the knot, to help balance the pop-up.
There you go, the finished rig. Set the boom longer for weedy lakes, shorter for hard lake beds.
