How To Setup A Drop-Off Inline Lead

We show you how to setup a Drop-Off Inline Lead correctly. A perfect set-up for a inside a solid bag or to be lowered onto a spot in the edge. Follow these simple steps, and you are ready to go and catch some carp.

You will need:

Naked Tail Rubber

Size 8 Ring Swivel

Flatliner Inline Pear Lead

Scissors

Step 1

Take a Naked Tail Rubber

Step 2

Slide it onto your Mainline like so

Next, take a Size 8 Ring Swivel

Step 4

Take your mainline and double over a section

Step 5

Pass the double over section of line through the large eye of your swivel.

Step 6

Loop the doubled over section over itself trapping the swivel in place like so

Form an overhand loop between the doubled over section

Step 8

Just like so!

Pass the swivel through the end loop

Don't tighten down just yet

Step 11

Ensure your knot is moistened before tightening

Moistened knots will ensure your knots and material aren't damaged.

Step 12

Bed down the knot carefully

Make sure all sections of material are parallel to one another

Once fully bedded, trim the tag end

This is what you should be left with

Next, take your inline lead

Plug it into your Swivel, like so

Run your mainline over the top of the lead

Then trap the lead with the naked tail rubber

Ensuring your mainline runs neatly and parralell

It should now look like this!

All that's left to do is loop on your chosen hooklink
