The Big Fish Off to air on ITV

The Big Fish Off success continues with the five-part series airing on ITV, following an amazing reception on sister channel ITV4.

Starring co-presenters Ali Hamidi and Dean Macey, the show pits celebrities from the world of television, film, sport and music against each other in a series of fishing-based tasks over the hour-long show.

Kicking off with Hollywood actor Tamer Hassan and reality star Micky Norcross tackling a series of challenges at Anglers Paradise in Devon, the first episode airs on ITV on Tuesday, May 19 at 11.10pm.

Subsequent episodes include actor Julian Lewis Jones and reality star Kirk Norcross tackling giant catfish and carp in Spain, pop star Dappy and Made In Chelsea’s Ollie Locke going head-to-head in an epic day and night fishing challenge and England football legend David Seaman in a high-octane session with superbike champ Tommy Hill on the River Wye.

The season finale stars EastEnders actor Scott Maslen and cricket ace Graham Napier in a series of nail-biting challenges, including the now famous crucian challenge, and airs on Tuesday, June 23 after a week’s break between the fourth and fifth episodes.

The first airing of season 1 on ITV4 enjoyed a great reception from anglers and non-anglers alike, with the fast-paced challenges keeping audiences wrapt from start to finish.
