Fantastic weekend at The Big One Show for the Korda team!

The Big One Show was a massive success, with the Kordatorium and our stand proving a huge draw for visitors.

Thousands of anglers came through the doors over both days and as usual Korda was one of the main attractions, given the crowds that were thronging around the stand all weekend!

The Kordatorium was packed all weekend as people flocked in to our own amphitheatre to listen to talks from some of the biggest names in carp fishing – including Danny Fairbrass, Darrell Peck, Neil Spooner, and Ali Hamidi talking about their adventures during the making of the eagerly anticipated new series, Monster Carp, that will be coming to TV soon.

They were also talking about the brand new Masterclass 3 DVD that has just hit tackle shops and is free – so make sure you grab your copy as there is more than three hours of fantastic footage, including plenty that will help you to put more fish on the bank.

The Big Fish Off, which will be starting on ITV in the next few weeks, also proved a big draw, with presenters Ali Hamidi and Dean Macey putting in a great performance and revealing some of what went on during the making of the second series.

Our massive fish tank, at 10m in long, also proved very popular as people were able to watch a variety of coarse species – including carp and pike – swimming around, which also proved a superb back-drop to the talks.

As usual our stand was manned by some of Korda’s top anglers, and visitors were treated to ad hoc demonstrations during both days on any of the wide range of terminal tackle that they wanted to see how to get the best out of, or how to tie some of the rigs that are favoured by our team.

If you couldn’t make it along to see us at the show, then make sure you pick up a copy of Masterclass 3 in your local Korda stockist, and keep an eye out for the new The Big Fish Off series!
