Best end tackle range award for Korda yet again!

Korda has just received an award from Carp Talk readers for the best range of end tackle for 2016, making it an amazing seventh consecutive year!

The annual awards are voted on by readers of the popular weekly carp magazine, and it’s great to hear that so many of you are taking advantage of the comprehensive range of innovative products on offer and using them to catch fish.

The 2016 awards were announced and presented at the Carpin’ On Show last weekend at Five Lakes, Essex, which saw carp anglers descend on the venue to come and check out all the latest tackle as well as seeing talks by some of the biggest names in carp angling.

Damian Clarke and Tom Dove were on hand to accept the award from Carp Talk’s Rob Hughes and Bev Clifford. This follows on from winning the same category in 2015, along with a number of other awards in the past.

Korda had a fantastic weekend, with a huge amount of interest in our range of kit as well as the various demonstrations on how to use it most effectively! Darrell Peck was one of the big attractions, with a packed auditorium listening in awe as he talked about some of his catches and how he goes about his angling.

The Big Fish Off duo of Dean Macey and Ali Hamidi were also a massive draw for the crowds, with queues of people wanting to meet them and have their photos taken. The duo also appeared on the main stage where the audience on both days were left enthralled as they were given a taste of what is to come when the second series of the hit show comes to ITV in a few weeks time.

Ali also received recognition for his fantastic top-selling new book, ‘The Carpers’ High’ which came out in 2015 and was awarded ‘Best New Carp Book’.

Korda UK sales manager Neil Spooner enthused: “Our innovative end tackle is what we’ve always been known for, and we take great pride in it. So it is great to be recognised in this way, especially when it is voted on by the public, and I think people are going to love the new additions that we’ve got coming out this year.”
